I'm there too, just in the basement. Name's Derek Morgan. I run the place. And I can get you to a hospital. Are you in one of the rooms on the second floor?
[Derek is there in less than a minute. He offers the kid a kind smile and offers a hand in introduction. He hasn't met all the kids staying here and this one is new to him.]
[Derek shakes Bran's hand, understanding the mannerisms Bran has an what he's trying to put out to him. So he won't coddle him or treat him like a child.]
Alright, Bran of Winterfell. How about I get you to the hospital and on the way there you can tell me what's going on?
[Derek moves behind the wheelchair and pushes toward the front entrance to the Youth Center and then out into the sidewalk where he steers him in the direction of the hospital.]
Can you tell me what's going on with you, Bran? Are you hurting?
[He's very careful with the next question cause he in no way wants to upset Bran but he is curious since this is the whole reason for this excursion to the hospital.] Mind talking about what happened? With your legs, I mean.
[He fell? Derek takes a moment to let that mental image sink in, not to mention the fact that Bran doesn't seem to remember it actually happening. And that's it. Derek has just mentally adopted this kid.]
Must've been a bad fall. We've just got a little bit further.
[Derek wheels the chair up the ramp leading into the hospital and through the doors.]
There are several doctors here, Bran. They should be able to answer your questions. You want me to stay with you or wait in the waiting room for you to finish talking to them?

I'm Derek. What's your name?
[Voice > Action]
A pleasure. I am Bran, son of Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell.

Y-yes. Thank you.
[He releases the brake on his wheelchair and grabs hold of the handrails, ready to go.]

[Action]
It doesn't hurt. It's only... I've been told I could be fixed, maybe. My legs, I mean.

My spine got hurt, Maester Luwin said. I don't remember. Just... waking up, and I was like this. That's all.
[There is a curious tone to his voice, as if something troubles him about it beyond just the obvious reasons.]
[Action]
[Of course Derek knows it doesn't take much where the spine is concerned. He'd seen football players and agents both get spine injuries.]

If you would wait, I would... be very grateful.
[Action]
Alright, I'll be right over here in this waiting room when you're ready, okay?
