Dream IV ❄ video/open action

[Bran has wheeled himself into the square. Summer is beside him, under command to sit and stay, and is doing so obediently.

In one hand Bran holds his device, a little unsteady, while the other clutches tightly at the handrim of his wheelchair.]

Everyone is saying that today, things are different... that there are people here from other worlds. From--

[He falters, readjusts himself, takes a deep breath-- and then goes on.]

If there is anyone here from Winterfell, or from Westeros at all, I'd like to see you, please.

[ooc: You heard the boy! GoT/ASOIAF people, come and find him. This is SO VERY OPEN to everyone else, too, though! Let the games begin!]

[Bran's eyes go huge, and he takes in a sharp intake of breath. Heart pounding, his arms start working to wheel himself to his brother right away.]

Jon!

[He awkwardly throws his arms around Jon's middle, tears leaping to his eyes (which he does all he can to blink back; he's going to be strong).]

[Jon bends over, just a bit awkwardly, because of the chair, to press his face against the top of Bran's head. He was always a good little brother. But where is Catelyn? She's sure to see this in just another moment, to yell at him, but Jon doesn't care]

What are you-what is this chair? You're awake!

[Bran lets out a noise that's half laugh and half-sob. He didn't know when he'd ever see Jon again, even before he came here.]

This is a different world, they've got things like this-- it's like magic, but not. It's so that I can... [He knows he isn't explaining it right, and if Jon hasn't seen him since before he woke up, he might not even know.] I can't use my legs anymore, so a Maester here gave me this, for getting around on my own.

[He thinks for a moment, mind reeling-- there are so many things he wants to say. After a pause, he pats his dire wolf on the head.] This is Summer. He's got a name now. For keeps this time.

[There's a smile; rare but genuine]

Well it's certainly a better name than Shaggydog, wouldn't you agree?

[And he's looking over the chair, because, well. He's a big brother it's his job. Ghost is sniffing at it, sniff sniff sniff.]

Well if you like it, then I certainly won't complain. Is your mother here as well?

[Bran laughs.] Much better.

[He takes the handrims and wheels the chair back and forth a few inches, to demonstrate.

At Jon's question, he shakes his head shyly.]

No, she's... I haven't seen her in a long time.

[A pause. Good for him but not good at all for Bran, not in this state.]

Father?

No, Father is-- [He almost says 'dead,' and then he catches himself.] --not here, either. It's only me, and Summer, and Sansa.

[A pause. Ghost looks up at Jon, Jon looks down at Ghost, they share a glance, and then back at Bran]

You're here alone with Sansa?

And Summer, yes. [His lips pout just slightly.] It's all right; Sansa wasn't even here at first, and I managed just fine on my own.

[Bran straightens back his shoulders; good, Jon knows that he can handle himself.]
